Pub Life
In keeping with our history traditional pub life is alive and thriving at the George and Dragon.
Over the years we have played host to Belper's top quiz team and ladies darts team. It's not unusual to find a trophy on display in the pub.
The activities we participate in vary according to the season and we currently have teams competing in a variety of local leagues:
- Tuesday Night - Ladies Darts & Dominoes
- Wednesday Night - Mixed Darts & Dominoes
- Thursday Night - Pool or Skittles
On Friday night the George and Dragon is the place to be for the best in live music. We cater for a wide range of musical tastes. To find out who's playing here throughout the year check out the What's On page.
Sports fans aren't neglected at the George either, as we have Sky Sports to ensure that we will be showing all the top sporting events along with Derby County's televised matches.
