Our Beers.

As a pub with a reputation for quality Real Ale you won't be surprised to find that the George and Dragon maintains a large selection of beers. With three regular ales and at least two guest ales always available there is bound to be something to satisfy your taste.

Our regular Real Ales are:

East Mill Bitter (3.5%) brewed exclusively for the George & Dragon by Tower Brewery in Burton
Exmoor Gold (4.5%) our mid-strength beer
Green King Abbot Ale (5.0%) our premium ale

At the George two guest ales are available during the week with a third added for the weekend. We regularly feature ales from:

Hopback
Adnams
Bateman's
Whychwood
Archers

We like to support our local Derbyshire breweries and try to ensure that at least one of our guest ales comes from our smaller local breweries such as Falstaff, Funfair or the Derby Brewing Company.

If Real Ale isn't your drink we also stock Stella Artois, Carling and Carlsberg, along with Tetley Smooth and Calder's Premium, as well as Guinness and Strongbow Cider.
